PvP - How to Precisely Calculate HP and MP

How to calculate the Glasscannon? Should I calculate first the other affixes before subtracting the Glasscannon?

Can you please show me how to do it. Thank you ib advance.

Certainly. I will leverage the first HP calculation from above. Glass cannon becomes max 18% on legend gear (50% PvE) or 36% on eternal gear (100% PvE). This increases your damage by 18% but reduces your HP by the same amount. In order to make it easier to understand, I will add it as a factor at the end of the calculation using an example of 1 legend Glass Cannon affix at 18% PvP (50% PvE).

Calculate HP from First Example Above:

(1750+150xRound(98 x 20/99,0)+ (7x 1540))x1.19x1.14x1.75x1.60x1.75 = 103,233 in PvP this would be displayed as 103.2K.

Where, Round(98 x 20/99,0) = 20

One legend Glass Cannon affix =18% factor utilized (1-0.18=0.82). Utilizing the same equation from above except now we account for one legend Glass Cannon affix.

(1750+150x20)+ (7x 1540)) x1.19x1.14x1.75x1.60x1.75x0.82 = 84,651 in PvP this would be displayed as 84.7K.

Two legend Glass Cannon then the result would become 18%x2 or 36% factor utilized (1-0.36=0.64)

(1750+150x20)+ (7x 1540)) x1.19x1.14x1.75x1.60x1.75x0.64 = 66,069 in PvP this would be displayed as 66.1K.

Thank you very much. It’s a great help to me.

  1. So the calculation for the Barbarian will still be the same. Right?

  2. About the Cerebral Vortex affixes it says that Increase MP. Will it just increase your base MP or your total MP?

  1. Barbarian applies in same way.
  2. Cerebral Vortex increases your total MP.

You are very welcome.

Barbarian increases your damage up to 18% for one legend affix and reduces your total available MP by 18%.

Cerebral Vortex increases your MP and resist similar to the factors above. Cerebral Vortex increases MP by 12.5%/rank or if you only had one CV set in the arena, your MP and resist would increase by 1+(0.125x3) or 1.375. This would be very similar to the calculation above except now you are looking at MP instead of HP… Let’s do this exercise below then to assist in calculating MP…

Calculate Example MP:

– 7x Flat MP at 1540 each

– MP Stat Investment All points - 98 pts (Total invested). Visual total would be 103.

– Aetherial Drain Set 1 (25% MP/ Rank or 75%)

– Spell Sword Set 1 (20% MP/ Rank or 60%)

– Cosmic Power Set 1 (25% MP / Rank or 75%),

–Cerebral Vortex Set 1 (12.5% MP / Rank or 37.5%)

– +2 Sets Elixir on Amulet

– +2 Sets Legend Affix on Ring

– MP%: Obsidian MP% 1x at 19% (From 75% max value)

– Legend Balance 1x at 14% (From 50% max)

Flat MP = 1540 x 7 = 10,780

MP% = 19% or 1.19

Balance = 14% or 1.14

Aether Drain = 1.75 (25%/ Rank + 1)

Spell Sword = 1.60 (20%/Rank + 1)

Cosmic Power = 1.75 (25%/Rank + 1)

Cerebral Vortex = 1.375 (12.5%/Rank +1)

Sets 2 (Elixir 1 + Sets 1)

MP Stat Point Investment 98 (103 Displayed)

(1750+150xRound(98 x 20/99,0)+ (7x 1540))x1.19x1.14x1.75x1.60x1.75x1.375 = 141,946 MP for PvP

Where, Round(98 x 20/99,0) = 20

Barbarian example where 1 legend affix =18% or (1-0.18=0.82)

(1750+150x20)+ (7x 1540))x1.19x1.14x1.75x1.60x1.75x1.375x0.82 = 116,395 MP for PvP

Glad to help. I had good fortunes in this game and studied a lot of the details.

Do you know the formula to calculate the HP in PVE?

Yes.

Example from above in PvE terms.

Calculation Example HP: (The exact logic is used to calculate MP)

– 7x Flat HP at 7500 each

– HP Stat Investment All points - 98 pts (Total invested). Visual total would be 103.

– Plagued Set 1 (25% HP/ Rank or 125%%)

– Battle Mage Set 1 (20% HP/ Rank or 100%)

– Vampiric Touch Set 1 (25% HP / Rank or 125%)

– +2 Sets Elixir on Amulet

– +2 Sets Legend Affix on Ring

– HP%: Obsidian HP% 1x at 75%

– Legend Balance 1x at 50%

Flat HP = 7500 x 7 = 52,500

HP% = 75% or 1.75

Balance = 50% or 1.50

Plagued = 2.25 (25%/ Rank + 1)

Battle mage = 2.00 (20%/Rank + 1)

Vampiric Touch = 2.25 (25%/Rank + 1)

Sets 4 (Elixir 2 + Sets 2)

HP Stat Point Investment 98 (103 Displayed)

Base HP calculation below:
(5700+150x(HP Stat point) + (Flat HP Qty x 7500))

Or

(5700+150x(98) + (7 x 7500))= 72,900

PvE value:
(5700+150x(98) + (7 x 7500))x1.50x1.75x2.25x2.00x2.25 = 1,937,545 HP

Equivalence PvP Example

Leveraging the very first example, we will calculate equivalence values For PvP.

Calculation Example HP: (The exact logic is used to calculate MP)

– 7x Flat HP at 1540 each

– HP Stat Investment All points - 98 pts (Total invested). Visual total would be 103.

– Plagued Set 1 (25% HP/ Rank or 75%)

– Battle Mage Set 1 (20% HP/ Rank or 60%)

– Vampiric Touch Set 1 (25% HP / Rank or 75%)

– +2 Sets Elixir on Amulet

– +2 Sets Legend Affix on Ring

– HP%: Obsidian HP% 1x at 19% (From 75% max value)

– Legend Balance 1x at 14% (From 50% max)

Flat HP = 1540 x 7 = 10,780

HP% = 19% or 1.19

Balance = 14% or 1.14

Plagued = 1.75 (25%/ Rank + 1)

Battle mage = 1.60 (20%/Rank + 1)

Vampiric Touch = 1.75 (25%/Rank + 1)

Sets 2 (Elixir 1 + Sets 1)

HP Stat Point Investment 98 (103 Displayed)

Visual description of calculation:
(1750+150xRound(HP Stat x 20/99,0) + (Flat HP Qty x 1540))

Where, Round(98 x 20/99,0) = 20

Calculate HP from Above:

(1750+150x20)+ (7x1540))x1.19x1.14x1.75x1.60x1.75 = 103,233 in PvP this would be displayed as 103.2K.

Base MP is 1750 in this example. No multipliers or investment into MP stat beyond the 5 (all invested into HP above).

HP / MP with equivalence =

(103,233+1750)/2 = 52,492 for both HP and MP.

There’s a way to check base hp/mp and hp/mp% in game, but takes a bit of exploring.

Page 7 shows base hp, Page 9 shows base mp (- on gears only) and page 14 shows hp/mp % (excluding balance shown on Page 2)

I wish this could have been made easier. I would’ve thought it’d be on the first few pages and base hp/mp should’ve been shown together like page 14.

does scoundrel balance adds up with balance legend affix?

nope, it’s counted as its own

balance and scoundrel stack on each other based on the stat page

Unless it was on recent patches, I don’t remember that working that way

See this is all too much for me. I will just wing it as I go along lol:smiling_imp::smiling_imp:

How about blood magic? It is stated that all mp are replaces with hp equivalence. Does it mean that total mp% will also increase hp? Mp on hit restores hp? Is balance legend has double effect on hp since it has mp increase?

Yes. Just add the MP to the HP and see the total.
