As I am a user of close combat warrior, what I hate is the enemy affix thorns coz warrior’s high hp is useless. Additionally, map affix +enemy bolt also sucks since warriors more likely to take all projectiles that more likely kills him.
But later, I found that shieldwall not only reduces flat damages but also percentage based damages like thorns so it help a lot in my survivability. Also, high ms, constant moving while still hitting enemies, and crowd controls can make you take minimal damage.
