Haha, I just looked. It flashes full/empty repeatedly. What I meant was this. You have to be below 75% health to get the Masochist bonus: would you get the bonus or not? Or only when your life bar flashes on empty?

Only when you go below 50% of your maximum HP so with 100% glass canon unfortunately yeah you get the bonus when your dead but not much else
