Hi, can I help you with localization of dungeon quest into Russian?

at this time, Dungeon Quest is only in English. so we use Google Translate, or whichever translate program is available.

is this correct @tdaniel ?

yup!

The tech we used to make D1 (WAY back in 2012) is for the most part deprecated at this point. Adding additional a language support was something that would have been very difficult to do and even harder to maintain as updates were released.

For the most part we use Unity 3d now for our games work and that allows us very easy paths to localization for our future games!

It may be a bit late to ask or out of my place but have you considered godot game engine? As an open source one or alternative to Unity.

I have never heard of that actuall!

We are loving Unity as a studio and we use it for all of our non game applications as well. While the tech we used to make DQ1 allowed us to make a great game at the time, we had to move on for access to better tools and Unity fulfill all those needs currently.

Although we love opensource tools so I will check it out and at least get educated on what it offers.

Thanks for mentioning it!

You’re welcome. Been meaning to mention it earlier when I heard of it as well.
