How do people get a level 5 set effect on a single item
Say, (5) Aftermath on one item then (5) Druidic on another.

Use either amethyst to get the set or ruby to get red affix

you can have 5 of the same Set Affix.
2 Elixor Myth Stones, one on your Ring and the other on the Amulet/Necklace.
Nadroji Ring & Amulet/Necklace, each has a +2 All Sets.
1 Elixor Myth Stone and one Nadroji Item with the +2 All Sets.
it is possible to have 4 items with the same Set and +4 All Sets for Set Affix (8), which is the max. some Sets can only have Set Affix (6) because they are only on 2 Items and can’t be rolled with Amethyst Crystal.
most players go with Set Affix (5), but may go higher if they wish. with a Legend Pet, it is possible to have seven different Set Affix (5). some Set Bonus Affixes require builds with a Set Affix of (6) or higher.
