what kind of items are those named with only Ring, Amulet, Robe and etc.?

yes it’s purple. but how did it turned out to only have a Ring name without their mythic name?
for example the name is Ring of Death and it has an energy affix.
supposedly it’s name shoul be Energy Ring of Death instead of only Ring of Death.
it was changed in the 2.1 patch mainly so that players can’t see what mythics others are using in battle arena.
