Armor issue

For some reason my main characters armor is off. Stats show +/-1500 but it should be +/-7000. My hire isn’t having the problem(5k).
I have tried reloading, switching which is main, changing gear, respecing hero points, doesn’t seem to matter. Making it hard to advance using my weak character as a shield.
Any ideas?

Also, loving the game. Good job.

It’s hard to tell what is causing it with out being able to see what is up with your gear etc. Screenshots would help, the more the better.
