Bleed DMG affects Blistering. if you use Vampiric Touch Set, it affects Blistering also. Crushing Flames Set increases DMG of Immolate. there are also Talents and Skills that affect Bleed DMG.
Bleed Chance doesn’t affect Blistering DMG or chance. after 5 or 6 hits, enemies become immune to Elemental Crits, so Bleed Chance allows you to do Bleed DMG, just not with the Bleed DMG of Blistering.
Immolate increases Fire DMG +100%, or 2x.
Blistering +400% is 5x Fire DoT as Bleed DMG.
1000 DMG
400 Fire DoT DMG for 2 seconds
800 Immolate DoT DMG
4000 +400% Blistering Bleed DoT DMG for 10 seconds
8000 Blistering Bleed DMG from +100% Bleed DMG
1000 DMG
Bleed Chance
1000 Bleed DMG for 10 seconds
2000 Bleed DMG from +100% Bleed DMG
Bleed DoT is DMG every second for 10 seconds.
one thing I haven’t tested is if Blistering is based on Fire DoT before or after Immolate is in effect. the reason I say this is because Immolate used to be a separate DoT from Fire DoT (100% Fire DMG every second for 4 seconds while Blistering was +100% of Fire DoT. the way it is now, I think Immolate is weaker while Blistering is stronger. I think this was done to make Fire Element more balanced, especially when using Crushing Flames Set).
@Ansherpazdan , I would change the +5000 Fire on the Pet to your choice of:
+10 Lacerate for +45% Bleed DMG
+10 Suffering for +45% Miss Chance
+10 Brutality for Bleeding Enemies Take +45% DMG
+10 Sprint
+10 Scalp
+10 Frenzy for Bleeding Enemies give +15% APS and MS
if none of these make you happy, you can always go back to +5000 Fire.
without WD%, the 5k Fire is better than +20% Fire, so hopefully the other options are better… I should’ve checked to see if any of those are better than the 5k+… I think Lacerate & Frenzy might be not as good as the other 4, so hopefully they are better than the 5k Fire.
