Boom 4million DPS

I updated my guide with affixes for 5.0M+ DPS, I just wanted to see how far I could go; I won’t stay on the leaderboard, I was just checking into the crazy multiplier the warrior has on the lance. I’m going to gear up for MF again now. Feel free to check out the affixes that boost DPS though!

Note: This took several painful hours of re-rolling.

Nice. Yah when I was re rolling items I was re rolling for effective build. If i was going for top DPS that is the way 2 go. My build works very well for all gameplay.

That is a huge number tho!!!

Yeah, I just use the warrior as a lacky, he’s not really that effective when comparing him to twister  I just use the wizard mostly for all-purpose stuff, teleport + AoE is very handy. I may up the DPS just to see how high it flys, but I suppose I should level him up the rest of the way to 99…

NOTE: The cap that shows on the stat page does not restrict DPS on the stat page; You can get +15% atk spd/crit chance on all items, as well as +75% crit dmg and +20% element damage (go with elemental damage, arcane isn’t affected by the +25% element bonus, and elemental bonuses are multiplied by it ((i.e. 1.25*+%elemental damage, including increases from plague; Plague is more effective for DPS on the wizard than Focus for this reason)))

In short, the cap cut off is non-existent, meaning that you can get 100% crit rate, and +90% atk speed (which is not scaled to the weapon, but instead based off of a 2.5 atk/sec rate, explained in my guide… somewhere anyways haha… Hit Ctrl+F to find key words on a page)

Is this getting fixed tho? It really should or at least have diminishing returns on over cap.

I agree with the diminishing returns after cap for sure. I got my warrior to 3.22 mill (4.03 mill with shrine) with 270% frosbite dmg and 11% Zealous (attk spd and move speed with 75% + hp). I get as high as 4.8 mill crits with no shrine and 6.16 mill crits with a shrine (thus far). I also have +2 attacks on my weapon. I melt ep8 Ignis in about 3-5 seconds. Not sure where to go from here.

+attacks and +bolts reduces DPS on the stat page but probably works properly when actually facing enemies; The caps will be fixed, but they do not have diminishing returns, the attacks per second multiplies weapon damage, and crit DMG + 100% crit rate means that your DPS becomes what your crit DMG multiplier is, for example, +480% crit damage occurring 100% of the time would multiply overall damage by 4.8. To that end, if you were using a lance, since +%atk SPD affix is based on % of 2.5, the multiplier for all damage output when capped would be weapon multiplierattacks per second * crit rate and increased crit damage.
In actual numbers: 5.5 * (0.73+(2.5
0.9))*4.8@100% crit rate = 78.672; this would be further increased by +120% element damage *1.25 element bonus damage (+25% element damage from challenges) for a damage multiplier total of over 100 times, keep in mind this is DMG per second, NOT damage per strike.
