They need to bring back creating a new character for free, as you used to be able to get hundreds for a price of £0
Nowadays it seems to expensive for one character to cost £1!

If you have a Google account, you can earn “play points”.
I’m not 100% sure, but my brother bought his first character slot with that for £0, he just answers questions now and then and saves the points

Google Opinion Rewards. I believe the other platforms have something similar.
they already have it. all you have to do is hit the Campaign button, the Change Hero button, pick the character you want to replace, and hit the DELETE button, Choose a new Character. you can now have a new Character for free.
before Patch 3.0, I only had 1 Character Slot, and whenever I had a new idea for a different Character, I would delete the one I had and start over with the new one. eventually I got a Gift Card and bought some stuff on DQ, 2 of them being 2 Character Slots for a total of 3, so that I could have 1 slot for each Character.
that slot is permanent. if the character dies, you don’t lose the slot. if you delete any character, you don’t lose the slot.

I am on about a 2nd slot for free Without having to delete your character, as in the early days that was available
ahh, that might have been back in the Beta Test days? I’ve only been playing since about 2016, and only the first Character slot is free at that time.
One euro is still pretty cheap. I think we should remember that the devs have to make a living too.
