a few months ago, I decided to Climb Floors to 500 with my Warrior equipped with an Axe & Hatchet but switched to Axe & Horn, using Cleave as my main damage. (this is in another Thread)
just a few days ago, a Rogue I’m Ascending got it’s 5th Perk. I decided to work with Dagger & Vial as those weapons and 4 Items all have the Inferno Set & Inferno Set Bonus. and the reason for the Dagger is that I want to learn about Quickattack. Quickattack is a lot more fun that I thought it would be.
Axe BWD is 26.
Dagger BWD is 30.
Cleave Description: Cleaves all enemies in front for 100% MH with 30% Bleed Chance.
APS 1.88
Cleave Skill:
- +5% Damage per Rank
- +1.5% Bleed Chance per Rank
- +2.5% Bleed Damage per Rank
- -1% Skill Cost per Rank
Quickattack Description: Strikes enemies for 100% MH to decrease the Cooldown of the MH’s Special.
APS 4.00
Quickattack Skill:
- +5% Damage per Rank
- +1% Bleed Chance per Rank
- +2% Bleed Damage per Rank
- -1% Skill Cost per Rank
normally, I don’t really like using melee skills, but after using these 2 Skills, I’m actually having fun.
Axe & Dagger are both 3rd place damage for Warrior & Rogue.
I decided to use Cleave for the Bleed Chance & Damage, and because I get lots of good buffs from Berserker Talents for Crit DMG with Axe (& Sword) and for using Bleed. my Axe & Horn Skills are Cleave, Earthshatter, Sprint, and Taunt. I’m still learning the best way to use these Skills in different combinations depending on the situation.
I’m using Quickattack because I want to see what using Daggers is like. at the moment I’m using level 2 Legend Items for Ascending to level 20, and even so weak, it’s crazy fun. the 4 APS for Quickattack is amazing. can’t wait to make a level 100 build with Daggers. Dagger & Vial Skills are Quickattack, Blinkstrike, Coat, and Cloak. I think when I do the level 100 Dagger Build, I’ll use Bomb for OH and put Coat Proc on. I’ve used Cloak & Blinkstrike before, so no problems, but Quickattack & Coat are a nice surprise.
I wish I had 3 heads and 6 hands so I could play Wizard, Rogue, & Warrior at the same time. I wonder if the Dev’s could put something like this in Options.
