Crafting an Eternal Item

I’ve always understood that Eternal items are take-them-as-they-come, but there seems to be an exception. I’m not sure if this is by design or not, but here you go:

Use dust to craft an Eternal Mythitec gear (ultra rare item, found only on 1000k+ m3 maps, very expensive to unlock via dust).

There will be four mythstone sockets on these items, begging you to try for a mythic affix, such as Sanctuary (Mentor, Wisdom, Endow, Return, in that order). This will not result in the Sanctuary mythic affix, but instead will remove all of the mythstone sockets.

You are then free to add epic (orange) affixes to the item via topaz crystals. The eternal epic affix caps will apply. For example:

This is a powerful addition to any build. Hope this helps for any newbies, apologies if this has been discussed before, the search feature on this forum is seriously flawed.
