Crushing flames farm build

I’m making a crushing flames farm build with brutal mythic. First what is the CF bonus? Do I need to remove everything like the sets or affixes on an item except for the 4 brackets to make a mythic item? Is it possible to get the main attack, charge on a staff with amber? Do you not get all legend affixes pool when using ruby? And do I not also get all the sets pool from the amethyst?

you can have 0, 1, or 2 affixes and 4 Socket on an Item when making a Mythic affix.

some affixes can only be found on Items. here’s a post to help.

the Crushing Flames Bonus gives 400% damage to Immolate. Immolate increases Fire DoT +100%. normally, Fire DoT is 40% of Fire Attacks damage every second for 2 seconds. Immolate would be 80%. with CF Bonus, +100% + 400% is +500% or 6x so Fire DoT 240% of Fire Attacks Damage every second for 2 seconds. CF (5) increases Immolate +125% damage so umm… Fire DoT 540% a second for 2 seconds. with one Immolation +50% on top of all that… Fire DoT 810% of Fire attacks damage every second for 2 seconds.

Crushing Flames can be rolled with Amethyst. if you don’t want to have to get CF again, then take the other 3 affixes off and add 3 Sockets to make Brutal. if you want your Immolate to tons more damage, keep Immolation Damage and take off CF and the other 2 affixes and make Brutal. if you don’t want the CF Bonus, use some other Chest Item and put CF on it, or use one of the other CF Items.

Main attack - do you mean Meteor? Special Skills like Meteor on MH or Shatter on OH can be changed with Amber. it gives you 3 random choices of Special Skills from the MH Pool for MH & OH Pool for OH. if you mean Comet, then no.

before Patch 3.0 came out, I just played a lot and tested lots of ideas for all 3 Classes… and used Delete a lot because I only had 1 Character slot. I learned a lot just from using different Items, different affix and Mythstone combinations, reading the DQ Forums…I know a lot more now even though I’m still learning about DQ.

after Patch 3.0, I spent some money on DQ and have more Character Slots, which is really nice, because I can have all 3 Classes without Deleting them all the time.

If you have any ideas let me know

this is my Farm Wizard Build. I’ve had the Chest & Head Item for a long time, and when I want to change the build, I just change the other 4 Items and the Pet as necessary.

the concept for this build is to do enough damage to kill monsters quickly while dodging and blocking most attacks. to have the max Gold Find, Luck, and half Item Drop for a normal Farm Build while using Green & White Shrines to max these 3 affixes with Epiphany Set to +1012% for GF & L and +200% for Item Drop.

with Epiphany I have higher Crit Chance & DMG, Dodge, Cooldown (for lots of Twisters and no waiting for Timewarp).

for Epic+ monsters, I hit them with Fire & Poison to get +80% damage from Amplify 20 Talent… and with Sorcery 20 I’m getting +100% Fire & Poison DoT DMG on top of that!

having 2 Nadroji’s Bonus - @Mr_Scooty did some tests and concluded that having both improves the chances a little bit for Enslavers to spawn. this is on top of the +100% increased spawn rate for Magic & Rare Tier monsters.

I just realized I might not need 2 Wisdom Natures anymore since I added MP Reduce to the build. might go to 2 Element Natures… I now have 2 Element Natures!

Most damage is from Skullshield, with Blast & Twister for more Amplify damage. I use Timewarp, which is enhanced by Cosmic Power, when I have to fight Epic+ monsters or large mobs. Blistering gives me a Bleed DoT when I cause Immolate. so even more damage!

How does the gf and luck cap work? How do you get it?

The cap means you can’t go over a certain limit. You can find all caps in the 4th tab of the stats menu (represented by a sheet)

How does amplify dmg work? What the difference compared to sorcery?

Amplify increases DMG by +2% per Rank for each Element DoT on an enemy.

Amplify 20 increases DMG by +40% for each Element DoT on an enemy.
Amplify 40 is +80% DMG for each Element DoT (Debuff over Time).

Sorcery increases DoT DMG of Poison & Fire by +5% per Rank. (From old Posts) > Shock has a chance to chain once and a smaller chance to chain a second time. Ice slow enemy is improved.

Poison DoT is 10% of Poison DMG every second for 8 seconds.
Fire DoT is 40% of Fire DMG every second for 2 seconds.

Sorcery 20
Poison DoT is 20% of Poison DMG every second for 8 seconds.
Fire DoT is 80% of Fire DMGF every second for 2 seconds.

Sorcery 40
Poison DoT is 30% of Poison DMG every second for 8 seconds.
Fire DoT is 120% of Fire DMG every second for 2 seconds.

I like using Elementalist Talents, so I use both with Fester and either Ascendant Set or Prismatic Talent for best synergy.

Hey sir. Golem what is the reason why you didn’t use crystalized and eternalize (green color affix) and also the mythic affix like sanctuary?

Sanctuary Mythic - I only Farm floor 505ish and survive really well running around with Block +45% and Dodge +75% while doing my best to kill monsters first with my Skills. I have Crafted Builds with Sanctuary, but there are a few other Amulet Mythics I want to try out.

Eternalized and Crystalline Sets - I originally didn’t have Eternalized Ring with this build. I added it later to improve my chances of getting Eternal Maps & Pets. also, I haven’t really gotten around to using Eternal Items in any Builds. in addition, it’s filling up my Eternal LegendEx collection. this particular Farm Build doesn’t have room for Crystalline Set. some day I’ll make a Farm Build with it, but it will be a different build for sure. I also want to eventually make a Farm Build for floor 1005 to get the really rare Items easier instead of just getting them with Dust.

Dauntless is great with taunt and high pack size.

I prefer it over Sanctuary unless I’m over floor 1000.

it’s all about play style, what can fit on a build, and some imagination.
