Crushing Flames Rogue hiking build help

Hi guys, i just returned to this game a few weeks ago and was intrigued with the crushing flames build. So i have completed my hiking build for rogue, but i haven’t tested it past 800+ so i wanted some opinions to fix on my build early on. Still hunting for my Momentum spike so im settling for Lilith pet for now.

Stats:

  • Attack speed: 75%/60%
  • Bleed Chance: 40%/75%
  • Bleed Dmg: 112%
  • Crushing Blow: 70%/75%
  • Dodge: 75%/60%
  • Elemental crit: 50%/50%
  • Movespeed: 62.5%/62.5%

Questions:

  1. Am i missing out on 45% Block? (I have a crystal sthenno with this stat but i dont want to miss out on 200% execute dmg and 50% on elites + 28.8 mspeed on my current eternal sthenno.
  2. Should i keep the Ignore resist? I read somewhere that it doesn’t affect CF. What’s a good substitute for this? Prolly 10% bleed chance?
  3. Do i need to invest more on bleed chance and bleed dmg?
  4. Do you really need a hireling for the 10000+ floors?
  5. Jumping around with sthenno takes so much mana (i have only 6000ish mana). It has become a habit for me to jump around lmao. Do i have to get 7500 mp epic on any of my gear or pet?

consider ignore resist → more elem crit.

Also, imo, dodge is useless, just don’t get hit.

Why element crit though? Isn’t 50% the cap though considering epiphany? Or are you referring to element crit dmg (Blistering)?

Wait, there’s a cap that’s not 100 ?

Stats page says it’s 40%. 50% with epiphany.

builds with fast attacks like Ricochet usually only need +15% Elemental Critical, because after 5 hits, enemies become immune to EC’s for a long time.

the only thing you should trade Ignore Resist for is Weaken.

  1. it depends on the build and play style. it would be easier to change Talents to those Ranger ones that have your Ricochet dropping Traps for more DPS while having the Traps doing more DMG, lasting longer, and a chance to Root enemies.
  2. yes. Ignore Resist means your attacks ignore enemy Resist Fire (-50% Fire DMG on Fire Maps), Greatly Resist Fire (-75% Fire DMG on any Map), Immune to Fire (0 x Fire DMG on Fire Map). the penalty is that you don’t do Effective DMG on Ice Maps (+25% DMG on Ice Maps). also, Crushing Blow & Flames take a % of an enemies current HP, so are unaffected by enemy Resists. if an enemy only has 3 HP left, you would need some other way to get the last 3 HP, as CB & CF won’t work on HP that low.
  3. with Razored, you don’t really need the +10% on the Pet. for Bleed DMG, the only way for more is to trade the +100% Execute DMG on the Amulet for another +50% Bleed DMG. I don’t think this is a good trade for this build.
  4. no, but if you’re having trouble climbing floors with just 1 Character, a Hireling gives extra DPS.
  5. hit MP Potion when you need it. stop Vaulting sometimes and use Ricochet to fill up your MP with MP on Hit and then continue Vaulting

Thanks for the suggestion!. Took me thousands of sapphire and topaz to find 10 Laytrap but still cant find it lmao.

I feel the pain! every time I make or test a new build, I go through hundreds & thousands of Crystals and dozens of Mythstones.

that’s the main reason for having a Farm Build - to get more crystals for making builds.

Looks like the right pet for the build  i would’ve want it to be Vampiric Touch or Momentum though but can’t complain lmao

the only downside is the Permafrost, but the other affixes are great for the build.

I’m so jealous! it’s better than any Eternal Pet I’ve gotten so far.
