i guess i’ve been playing the game for quite some time now and im currently looking for diversity in-game
so here’s a few suggestion though :I
ELEMENTS
it seems that the only element that is quite good for exploring the higher floors is the element of ice and as others said poison
given the fact that there is permafrost+frostbite to support the late game build… it became a generic lame, i mean late game build
so here goes my suggestion for other elements
POISON
Venom -> there is 50% chance to deal 2% of maximum hp to poisoned enemies
can be supported by druidic and plagued set affix
FIRE
Ignite -> there is 10% chance to deal explode (400% mh damage) to burned enemies (once the explode proc-ed, burn de-buff is removed)
no set affix yet so support fire, but would really love to see one
SHOCK
Flash bomb -> there is 25% chance to deal a blinding light(overload) AROUND the shocked target… (like explode, but the blinding light deals 200% MH damage and in addition it blinds the target)
overload and electrified set affix can amplify or support this build
SET AFFIX
i have a few suggestions about the affix that’s rarely used or may i ask the question… is it being used? lel :I
so here goes…
DEADLY ARTS
nobody(i assume) uses this anymore since its effect is practically useless…
why not change it to this?
“when deadly strike proc-ed, there’s a 1% chance[per rank] (based on total deadly strike chance) to deal a death blow (instant kill) to mob being hit”
-> do the math, and you’ll have 2.8% chance (max rank) to instantly kill the mobs provided that you had maxed the affix of cc and ds…
VAMPIRIC TOUCH
Heals (rank)% Bleed DMG dealt, +Total HP by Bleed %. Removes HP Regen (to yourself)
-> its already good, but can we change it to this?
Heals (rank)% Bleed DMG dealt, +Total HP by Bleed %. Removes HP Regen (to ENEMY)
-> it’s like a counter measure to those who has heals on the higher floors… so we’ll have people actually using this sweet set affix :I
ELECTRIFIED
its a really good affix… if you’re exploring the dungeon like… floor 100 below…
but let’s be realistic here…
reflecting their puny damage compared to millions of their health on higher floors?
this robs the usefulness of the affix itself…
here’s the current…
Reflect DMG is added to attacks, applied to area, and + by (rank)%
my suggestion…
why not make reflect damage have an hp% deduction to enemy rather than raw damage?
Reflect DMG now reflects % of enemy’s total health per hit…
.01% per rank is converted to reflect to enemy
having a maximum of 1500 reflect damage…
and 8 set affix of electrified reflects 1.2% of enemy’s total health per hit…
DRUIDIC
does anyone use hp and mp regen combo to tank mobs?
am not a warrior specialist though… so i can’t find ways to make use of this affix…
HP and MP Regen (rank)%. Adds (rank2)% Total Regen to Poison DoT DMG 10
can’t find ways to suggest on this though :I
