Epiphany only

How can I get rid of this epiphany bonus on this helm? I only need epiphany set affix only but I can’t reroll epiphany using amethyst crystal

you have 4 choices…

1. use another Item with Epiphany Set affix.
2. get a lot of Apex of Epiphany and then use Quartz until you have an Item with no Bonus but has the affixes you want that can’t be rolled with Crystals.
3. make a build that uses the Bonus.
4. make a build with the Bonus that doesn’t use the Bonus.

That’s the one use case of Quartz

I sometimes use it for certain things… but one thing everyone should know is that if you use Quartz to take all affixes off of a Legend Item instead of Kyanite, the Item loses it’s Legend properties and can only be improved to Epic, Crystal Epic, Mythic Epic, or Mythic Crystal Epic.

for those who don’t understand, get 2 Legend Items, take all affixes off of one with Quartz and Kyanite the other. then put Epic affixes on them and see the difference in maxing out the values of the affixes. if you don’t have Emerald Crystals to get both Items to +25% Item Quality, just use 2 Legend Items with the same Item Quality.
