You don’t seem to get the idea. You have to make the players play the game, not players have to ask for permission to play the game. So it would be in the games interests to make the game/forum etc more appealing and interesting and so far all got from you is hate, which I think is mostly because I complained and said negative things about the game. But unfortunately the community is small and I caused the most flame so I can’t really see how you would treat somebody else who had to say something bad about the game. And I am saying this again, there is no indepth information about the game : normal affixes max value, chances to roll a certain affix, monsters base health, resists, damage, algorithm for the growth of those stats, drop chances at high level, how the drops scale with the level of the map, crystals drop rate, mythstones drop rate, how the armor works, how resists work etc…

About the fighting: Just let it go, mate. Don’t think about it too much :smiley:

About affixes stuff: In the next patch, there will be a section which fully describe how they work and give you the exact number. If you want to know what’s the cap of an affix, just name it here. I think someone will drop by and give you the answers. Because no one can remember all of these numbers :laughing:

About CS/MS drop rate: It quite hard to say, because it mainly depends on your luck (not in game Luck). But I think, after 48 hours of playing, you should obtain 1 Obsidian :smile:

About game mechanical, how resist work, ect…: I think you should ask Steiger or Todd. They should give you the correct answer

This list will be going into the game, so please, if there are specific questions or even general ones that could be answered, ask them in the dictionary thread and ill fill them out here before we ship the next patch. Already there are some answers on armor and resists listed there. Also mentioned earlier in this thread was the stat caps making their way there.

We can look at making Enemy Health more obvious when facing them, but tables like that are likely to never be available in game.

The other bit of information we won’t share is specific loot drop formulas, we like to have some things be mysteries.

I googled ‘proc stands for’
there are a lot sites talking about it, even a WoW ENCYCLOPEDIA talks about it.
and then I found this site :

Hmph, If I weren’t this lazy to find proc definition, I could’ve help @Wassaby earlier without this lengthy idealistic debate.

A quick question about Jasper. When converting weapons from one class to another, is the type of weapon random?

For example, I’ve often wanted a Steiger’s Fortune for Warriors, so I decided to make convert one. I would have assumed that it would become a Sword (considering it was a Sword to begin with), but unfortunately I got a Hammer instead:

The question I have is, is this random, or would it have always become a Hammer? In other words, would changing a different class, and then changing back (I wouldn’t be doing this, at least not for this weapon…) effectively re-roll the type of weapon?

When you convert Wizard’s Sword into a Warrior weapon, it’ll always become a Hammer. :smile:

Seems that the pattern is fixed when change class :
HAMMER → DAGGER → WIZARD’S SWORD
WARRIOR’S SWORD → CHAKRAM → STAFF
LANCE → FLINTLOCK → WAND
AXE → BOW → GAUNTLET

HATCHET → MIRROR → MANA SHIELD
HORN → TRAP → SKULL
SHIELD → BOMB → ORB
TOTEM → VIAL → TOME

It is fixed.

When this release came out I thought it was great. The old exploit was crap, IMHO.

I play a couple hours a day and collect way to many Legends. In the old days all my legends were lvl 100 because of the old enchant ways. I had <$92M gold, Now I’m around >$76M and still waiting to upgrade a legend to replace my currently equiped amulet.
My cry is because I spend way to much gold "convert"ing crystals to get to lvl 10 to upgade up that Legend. I used to have more than enough gold to upgrade whenever I found a better replacement.

Also at this rate it will take 2 years or more to get to the Obsidian crystal. Something I originally thought was obtainable.

Conclusion: I think this was an awesome release and got me to play more than normal. However your implamentation of this is was horrible becacause of the drop rate of the crystals. Now I have to play at least a week to upgrade a lvl for a new and better upgrade to my amulet. Not good.

At the begining i would be totaly agreed with you, now i’m not.
Increase your item drop, switch to higher ep and you’ll see the difference.With 200% item drop i find sometimes higher lvl crystals and myths… Patience is power!

why do people always complaining about how hard getting crystal is?!?
do we really realize that eventho we got 100 obsidians, we still have no idea what to do with it, for crying out loud!?!?!?
just take ur time playing and planning a godly build so that when u get even one crystal, u know what to do with it.

the older we get, the wiser we’ll be.

I never go EP, but EP8. (this is my biggest complain lol, it gets harder and harder to beat the enemy on this EP, and I find it so challenging)

That’s the point! It’s my fault! I asked Steiger to increase a lot ep8 to be more challenging, for me the highest EP should be a kind of “Torment VI” (new Inferno) mode from DIII and very hard to do
Especially when new features are coming, features which increase the power of every players (heroic skills, new enchant system, crystal affixes etc)
