Skull Shield is a tap once and just let the Skulls kill as you run around the map, until you die or get hit by enough damage to knock out the Skulls, and then tap a again to have all 3 floating around again.
Nova isn’t really good unless you are close to your enemies, as it is an explosion centered on your Character, and only Procs if you are actually casting spells. the good thing about it is that when it Procs and hits any enemies, there is a 100% chance for Nova to Elemental Crit. it would make a good defense against monsters that teleport or rush you when you are hitting monsters from a distance.

Nova, Vanish, and Enigma, and any of the Mythic Resources can go on OH Items.
only you can decide which is best on your Skull.
here is a list of recipe’s and descriptions. just so you know, if you put 4 Myth Stones on an Item that make a recipe by accident, you will still make a Mythic Affix. and it doesn’t matter what order you put the MS onto an Item when Crafting Mythic Affixes.
