How does DPS work between OH and MH weapons?

Say you only use MH weapon skills, does adding weapon dmg+ affixes to OH weapon boost DPS for your MH skills too?

It does not. WD and WD% only works with the equipment that it is on.
Global affix is ED and ED% but should have the same element.
