I’ve been playing DQ for almost 8 years, and have focused mostly on Wizard and am catching up with Rogue. but the past few weeks I’ve been Climbing Floors with my Farm Warrior to get to floor 500ish to work on making a Farm Warrior as good as my Wizard.
the main reason I don’t like using Warrior is because it’s mostly a Melee class and I feel vulnerable playing it.
but over the years I have found I like using Warrior with Hammer because of the Smash Skill. since I’ve started Climbing towards my Farm Floor, I’ve been using an Axe with Cleave Skill & Earthshatter. and while writing this Post, I have decided to test using Horn for Sprint & Taunt combo. I usually use Shield because of the extra +10% Block you get, but I really don’t like the Bash Skill. I hope I like the Horn, because I’ve only tested it a long time ago. I usually use Totem when not using Shield, but I’ve been using Hatchet to have a ranged attack with Toss and Taunt for the Special.
not only that, I really like most of the Berserker Talents with Bleed, which work great with Axe & Cleave.

For my part I often use sprint talent as my AoE for move speed, dodge.
Otherwise I use whirlwind (frozen) and taunt (fire) with skill and talent for my crushing / frozen build. For this build, I cumulate all “execute dmg” I can, with demonic and mercenary set.
I have seen many guys playing arcanist ascendant and Wrath talent. They make huge damage but for my part I didn’t make any good damage with this type of build.
And for the bleeding, after the nerf of (bleed DMG ) the affixe, I prefer use the crushing flame bonus set and lot of Immolate DMG and fire DMG % to create a huge bleed after burning.
Immolate now increases the damage of Fire DoT instead of being a separate DoT. this means damage from Immolate went down but Bleed from Blistering went up. I think this is because of how much Immolate gets boosted from Crushing Flames Set & Bonus and Legend Immolate affix.
isn’t the Bleed Damage affix +50%? or are you thinking about Perserverance?
right now, I’m still learning how to best use Sprint on my Build. I don’t have any Crystal affixes yet and all my Skills are basically melee range, so I’m dying a little more than usual. and building up my Hero Experience is driving me crazy again!
I’m stopping on floor 150 to farm for Crystals to make some affix changes and improvements before climbing past 250ish towards 505. what I really need are Crystal affixes on my Items, so it’s going to take some time. also, I decided to try using Daggers on my Rogue that I’m Ascending. that’s turning out to be lots of fun.
