if you still have a problem with running out of Mana when casting Twister, change the Endow MS on MH to Epic +40% MP Reduce. this reduces your spell costs when using MH Skills.

this way, you use 40% less mana when casting Twister while 50% of Twisters cast are for free from Clearcast.

a fun fact, with Twister 40 and +60% Cooldown, you’ll be casting Twister every 1.2 seconds.

Was my math wrong again? Twister 40 should be 40% cdr, i have 50% cdr in my build. That should be like 90% cdr amd give below .5s cd?

it’s multiplied.

Twister has a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Twister 40 reduces the cooldown 40% = x0.6.
Cooldown +50% reduces the cooldown 50% = x0.5.
5 x 0.6 x 0.5 = 1.5 second cooldown.

if you cast Twister continuously, enemies could take damage from up to 4 Twisters at the same time.

if you use Epiphany (5) to get +75% Cooldown, it will show Twister cooldown as 0.7 with Twister 40 on the stat page.

I don’t know when, but I think it was around the Patch 3.0, that cool downs have a minimum of 0.5 seconds. mentioned a number of times by Dev’s & Mod’s. something having to do with game balance.

I think I did a test with Orb which has a 1 second cooldown. I got it down to 0.3 seconds cooldown, but it looked the same as when it’s around 0.5 seconds. the same with tests I did with Boomerang.

Ahhh, I see. My math wasnt wrong just my understanding. Usually buffs from the same source are additive. Which would give me about 90% cdr. Multiplicative like that makes the actual cdr a little lower, 70%?

Yeah, I knew about the .5s limit.

I’ve learned most of the formulas, but there are still a few Skills, Talents, and affixes that I’m trying to find out if they are multiplied, added, or a combo of both. really frustrating sometimes.

there’s a Tower Game I play that the Dev’s recently show which boosts are added (+0.3% for example) or multiplied (x1.3 for example)
5 + 0.3 = 5.3
5 x 1.3 = 6.5
makes a difference.

I just did a test with Mythic Ruptured. I once again used an arcane skullshield for the test. Dmg was 50kish on a crit. I then attacked with my Rogue with the talent Razored. I stopped attacking after procing the bleed. The dmg immediately started hitting near 100kish on crits. Same enemy so armor/resist were not a factor here.

Conclusion, Ruptured on dmg dealer with bleed chance on a secondary works. I know about Exposed yet but will test once I can.

being able to Craft a Main & Hireling build where they can synergize each others damage is pretty cool.

I was finally able to get the set Shadows. My testing with it are very inconclusive but it seems that it only gives a chance for the application of DoT to detonate. In addition, this detonation does not appear to be AoE. On detonation, the DoT is removed and the mob can be poisoned again.

Personally, I am disappoimted in this power and am thinking about switching it to a different set, though am unsure as to what.

I am able to comfortably farm floor 501 with the build only about half complete. But I am very disappointed in the Shadows set.
