Newbie Wizard: Just hit Floor 101! Should I rush to 200 or fix build

Hi, I’m a total beginner. Just played for a day and reached Floor 101, Wizard Level 69. My strategy was just rushing for portals and equipping whatever Eternal (Red) items I found that boost DPS or XP Gain

What should be my next move? Should I keep rushing to Floor 200 to get Level 100 items, or stop and fix my build now? Also, are the Eternal items I drop at Floor 101 worth keeping for later? Thanks for the help!

Welcome to DQ Forums @Vernand !

at this point, you need to decide what kind of build you want.

Farm - Gold, Crystal, Mythstones, Items, Dust.
Floor Climbing - Survival & Damage.
Battle Arena - Fight against other players Characters.
Ascending - Gaining Lots of Experience to get all Six Perks.

Eternal Items are powerful, but only 8(?) Crystals can be used on them.

if you’re lucky or observant, you can get far with random Legends & Eternal Items. eventually you’ll reach a point where you want a build with all of the affixes synergizing together. some players have made late game builds with Eternal Items, you just have to find the right one for your build.

one thing I tell new players, if you don’t understand how all the affixes work, just make an all Epic Affix build. it’s a great way to learn the basics and how the different affixes work together, and is relatively cheap, only needing common crystals. Items with Sockets will allow you to use Mythstones and see how they can fit into a build.

You don’t need floor 200 to guarantee lv100 drops.

Important milestones are:
Floor 501: maxed crystal/mythstone rarity
Floor 1001: all legends are droppzble
Floor 14,000 or something: enemies have literally infinite hp.

Hello, I am a mage but I have a problem.

I am currently level 93 and have 3400 hp, why is life nerfed?

Before I remember having almost 20000 with 24000 mana

Rework.
