In order to update Dungeon Quest on the Google Play store we had to move to API level 28 (which is why some players can no longer start dq on their devices).
This isn’t a choice that we made, but rather a requirement that google has in place for new apps and app updates.
Each new/different API brings new software features, hardware support, and program requirements. API sounds all fancy but think of it as a traffic cop (very watered down definition). It tells programs on a device how they should act with other programs.
Since the tech we used to make DQ WAAAAAAAAY back in 2012 is no longer being supported the tool set we use to make DQ builds cannot work with those new API levels. So we cannot make updates that take advantage of the new features that new API versions add.

Nice to see an update finally but bad part is it seems like it took it back to an old school graphic which looks terrible
? If you mean your shadows look low rez you can change this in your settings menu. Other than the mini map being stretched nothing else graphically has changed.
Are you playing the roblox game mod by mistake? That would look different from our game for sure.
