So I haven’t played arena in 1 day , and I played a match and won now I’m magic league???!
There’s some overlap betweeen leagues, divisions. If you don’t play for awhile and your AI toon loses matches & their rating drops, the next time you play your rating may be low enough to be in the lower league/division. No worries, a few wins and you should quickly renter the next league/division.

My AI toon never brings me chests either
I believe you are noticing the league change because season 3 just started (yesterday I think). You are basically starting over.
You should get back quickly since the new season just started. Season 1 lasted almost one year.
