PvP - Is Warrior the best?

I’ve not crafted gear for my guy yet, I am going over/refining it and I don’t think I can fit any more affix to help…

Only problem is the skills I’m worried about, I can jasper most items to get any base from the codex, so it’s no problem to swap MH->OH, put defiant on OH etc.
I was thinking of “fear - 3yds, as often as possible” , but then I remember i get 10% block from a shield and I think this is the best option combined with a crystal block?

Obviously I’ll need to test the build to configure the AI, but to me this looks good on paper

Has good reduction, and eHP thanks to sets and alchemy/stat points, Max dodge(24)/block(21), some weaken(20) for those all resistance builds, and lots of EleDMG+ with max crit chance and 103% critDMG, also a perseverance ofc (max stats for PvP)

No CC resists, I am relying heavily on the natural resistance from repeated CC, as well as Hp on CC to save affix slots

The armour+all resistance+defiant+alchemy gives a lot of DR after considering Str/Int/all skill and Blessed bonuses , including an intermittent 40% DR from shield wall (maybe there is a better skill? I though of this for the movement speed/easier to whirlwind)

Str/int are almost equivalent to a crystal stat worth of AR/Res… All skills is equivalent to more than 1 crystal affix…

After stacking armour, blessed gives huge bonuses which are further increased with sets

Also it’s important the pet is a fairy so we get tink, hoard and gold pile are useless in PvP

Just an afterthought - if I have the gladiator ring, I can swap an elemental damage for intelligence, then put defiant on OH and use Lederer’s Lance for another Strength affix
(Lose 1 EleDMG, gain 3 strength, gain empty affix slot)
(Lose Shield Bash(10% block), gain usable OH skill)
If I did this it would be worth swapping the crystal block too as the trophy will set us to 0 block anyway, at least with a shield we keep some block regardless of enemy trophy affixes

Hmm, seems like you are building some kind of Immortal Build but with a Druidic bonus.

In my opinion, I wouldn’t use crystal affix block and critical damage if I were to plan a tanky warrior build but rather focus on getting a high resistant, armored warrior build. Maybe

Fauns Gifts/Satyrs Spirit >Scoundrel
Armor >Block (Crystal affixes)
All resist >Crit DMG (Crystal affixes)
Then you might as well change all your gear’s nature into either Luck when using Fauns Gifts or Greed when using Satyrs Spirit

Druidic set seems fine along with its bonus (Haven’t tried that one yet before as an Immortal build). So goodluck on building gears bro💪🏻

I see, thank you for your suggestions

I’m under the impression permafrost mp absorb does not work with alchemy… I’ll test this to be sure but if it works I’d definitely swap over to it

I was also worried about diminishing returns with armour and resists, though I’m not sure what a good integer of armour/Res is (after bonuses) to aim for, or would you say stack as much as possible?

I’m also unsure about faun/saytr because of the heavy affix requirements, but I’ll also make a plan for this and run the numbers comparatively to see, I see it recommended a lot so I do believe they will be good to use

Is crit not good for spike damage to overpower enemy regen? Are there other ways to easily boost damage for PvP , like using shock element for example

Without block, can you recommend any OH skills I could use instead? Shield is only for block, if I remove block I don’t want shield bash, maybe sprint or fear?

Defiant can’t be rolled with Ruby. each Character has one OH Item with Defiant.

that’s a multiplier, so if you had Block +24% against 50% Overpower you would have +12% Block.

MP Absorb doesn’t work with BloodMagic & Alchemy. they used to work together, but for balancing reasons, now they don’t.

all three Characters have a base +10% crit chance & +50% crit DMG in PVP. six Death Natures will put you at the +24% crit chance cap. crit DMG has a +140% cap which is added to the base +50% for +190% crit DMG. this is going to take some space, especially if you add Deadly Strike +24%. there are good builds that use & don’t use crit chance.

after four hits, you do +50% DMG to the enemy. Shock DoT lasts 5 seconds.

I can add Defiant with Insolence(OH) or Mutiny(MH), depending which skill I want I can take these items from other classes and jasper them to change OH Primary skills
The jasper conversion chart is appreciated very much by me haha

If permafrost doesn’t work, druidic is better than permafrost set affixed I believe? Why would we choose permafrost over druidic?

For 0 block I just meant by sacrificing crystal block affix, and having only the base 10% block from the shield - its not as effective, I saw some eternal trophy affixes -10% enemy chance to block/dodge?

Do you think 6x death natures and 1 crystal affix is too much investment for too little crit bonuses? On average it’s about 25% more damage from just these affixes so I thought it was good - but I will look into faun/saytr and they need different natures for synergy

Is gold/luck cap in PvP also 140? I saw a post saying it’s 260% and crystal affix=53%

The fortune skill that gives luck/gold/item drops doesn’t work with saytr/faun? O.o

Natures are 25% each and are not reduced

due to the restrictions on PVP builds, no matter what build a player crafts, another player can craft a build to defeat it… eventually.

260% is 40% of 650% and 53% is true.
