How about a player search where you can view friends stats and profile but also be able to send an invitation to battle?
Like the idea and the “gotta be the best” mentality it represents. It reminds me a lot of the features capcom added to Street Fighter V.
While those features are awesome, we would have to develop from the start with them in mind which we did not do. Going back and adding in that feature set could break more things at this point than it would offset with the new feature.
