@Steiger – Okay, if the extreme is like 200k AR then using 100 as enemy level, here’s what we get:

100 - (100 * (200000 / (200000 + (100) * 1000)))
100 - (100 * (200000 / 300000)
100 - (100 * 0.67)
100 - 67 = 33

Which means we get 67% dmg reduction. Considering the number affixes needed to get such high numbers (including set affixes), I feel that’s kinda low. Block and dodge help, but again – affixes are limited. My point is, if AR and Resists are going to have any effect on gplay, it would require a dedicated build which might die anyway because it deals little dmg.

Resists - 10k; EL = 100
100 - (100 * (10000 / (10000 + (100) * 100)))
100 - (100 * (10000 / 20000)
100 - (100 * 0.5)
100 - 50 = 50

50% dmg reduction, so feasible I guess. Just one question too - are resists and armor deductions calculated at the same time or one before the other?

They are multiplied together so ordering makes no difference. AB and BA are equal.

I agree that AR/Res decays too fast as you go to higher floors.

I also agree, it seems like it makes it much less viable to play a glass cannon as one specializes further into it - kinda defeats the purpose.

The next patch 2.1. just wanna ask if this patch will take some time before release? i mean like time took for 2.0?
