:supervillain: ‘Give me all of your Obsidian @DJC, or I’ll reset your account to Noob Zero! Bwahahahahaha cough cough wheeezE!’

I have zero Obsidian at the moment for two really good reasons.

  1. I’ve been Ascending Characters, rarely Farming. And Ascending Builds need Crystal affixes to speed up Experience Farming.
  2. I’m always making new Builds, if I think they’re good enough to actually build. And I’ve been playing for almost 9 years.

Actually i played this game before the covid pandemic outbreak but i stopped 'coz i don’t know how to play yet :laughing: until i found this page :slightly_smiling_face:

I learned a lot just from playing and reading the Codex, while reading the Forum let me learn things not in the Codex or that I was thinking of testing for.

the last few years, I’ve been reading some of the posts & threads from the Beta Testing days. much of the early posts are outdated due to changes from the developters, but give lots of insight to certain builds.

another fun thing is discovering a change that was made and why it was made, or why something was made stronger or weaker.

Just sharing my latest achievements :blush: A little grind more to go, and I will have enough crystal stones and mythstones, then I will switch to a crushing flame build to climb a higher floor.
I’m curious about this crushing flame build and how much damage it causes.
Mind any suggestions about this build? I’m a fan of warrior heroes and I want to use hammers and horns in my weapons.
What are the best set of affixes, legend affixes, crystal affixes, talents, natures, etc. that best suit this build?

Demonic Set works good with Crushing Flames, and can be rolled with Amethyst.

Execute affix works like Demonic and is multiplied with it if you have both, but it can not be rolled with Ruby.

it looks like Immolate has been changed a little, so use Inferno (5) Set to double the duration of Fire DoT from 2 seconds to 4 seconds.

for those who are wondering, total damage with Immolate is lower than before, but with Blistering total damage is higher than before.

there are many combinations, so it’s really up to you to figure out what works best with the build idea you are aiming for. look in the Codex to see what the different affixes & Talents do, and do a Search :mag: for Hammer and/or Horn to see what others have shared.
