Where's the good stuff?

I love this game, but I admit I’m far from the toughest character around. My warrior is level 97 and I’m playing in room 136, but I can’t seem to acquire any goodies rated at higher than level 100, nor have I been able to get more than 2 of my blood knight items. I realize the latter is a matter of chance, but is there no gear available beyond the 100 level? I’ve played a number of the cartographer maps, but they haven’t led to anything special either.
