Whirling Blade mechanics
Yes. I find Chakrams to be very interesting but these limitations gimp the weapon so hard.

I think Player control over when the Chakrams return by tapping the skill again might boost Chakram’s viability without making it too OP.
There are many ways to change the skill and make it better. I’ll let you guys give suggestions. But making Whirlingblade better does not necessarily equal to making Chakrams better. Since you can change a weapon’s Special, what defines a weapon are its primary skill, stats and available eternals.

A Chakram build can be very strong. Boomerang has amazing mechanics and stats. If you look at MrMaru’s Chakram guide: MrMaru - Guide - Rogue Chakram (Revised with Gameplay Video), you can see that Boomerang is a perfectly fine skill back in 1.7. And guess what? The Chakrams, including this build, has received several buffs!

I actually like current Whirlingblades’s design. It is probably a Game Engine problem that makes its pathing weird when increasing Projectile Speed (I suspect the new Arcane elemental Crit Orbit has the same behaviour) and possibly human error for the lack damage boost.

Also thank you for replying. XD I don’t know how helpful these kinds of threads are since no one has replied to them before. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
