Charged Inferno (Patch 2.3) Wizard [Fire and shock guide] 🔥⚡[PvE]

Yeah that’s the old school Aftermath set build before it got nerfed from what I remember. Or it was after the nerf but I still managed to use it well. Btw I recorded and edited this on my first but slow phone aka the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, before I upgraded to the Faster Galaxy S6 that my Mum gave me when she upgraded to a Galaxy S7. The Galaxy S6 footage was with the Rogue Discord Chakram builds as PvP and PvE.

The footage looks faster because I sped it up by 2x to reduce the perception of the Lag I experienced in-game while recording back then.

It used to be that you could hold shatter and have procs of meteor and never let go for example, or as long as the meteors hit the ground enemies, was active. Old Aftermath was more powerful from what I recall.
Although in this video, it was just me using it normally I think. The Charged Inferno was my attempt at making Fire powerful with Shock debuff stacks and bleed/immolate before crushing flames came out and made Fire super great.

This was also the start of me being the DQTester for the game during that year in 2016-17, until patch 3.0 came out.
May have inspired Crushing Flames or just coincidence that I made it before crushing flames was thought of or added at the time.

Not only that but in 2.2 I believe, the Energy mythic worked differently in that video where it worked best if it was filled, instead of being nearly empty but I had to change it. Still uses Energy Mythic but removed MP on Hit/Leech affixes to make Energy do more Damage.

I also based this off of Cronos “shock bleed” build from somewhere in the forums or had direct help/inspiration. @cronos4321. Also from when I first met @TeaCup here.

Yup here it is DQ 2.3 Elemental Shock Bleed ft. cronos4321

First build that I felt proud of with my Maths working out and learning the game in general, then the Seasonal Maiden/Will of the Force Rogue discordance build I theory-crafted in the same ways before actually crafting it. The Seasonal Maiden was me utilising the brokenness of Frozen + Effective and Arcanist/Weaken affix before Arcanist’s nerf, then I just changed it to a Pure Frozen Build or crushing flames later.

The first build attempt was a failed Green Garden Build but the Toxic or Poison Clouds were balanced by then but thankfully I do see a “New” Green Garden adjusted for Patch 3.0+ versions after the Introduction of Shadows set affix, which I imagined would happen at the time but I stopped playing by then.

I think my Frozen Rogue Chakram build was roughly at the same time as his Hachimon build but I also remember making up a Throw Sword theorycraft build based on his older Throw Sword build with the 800% MH that I never ended up posting.
Or my Wizard Pierce idea with Alchemy Mythic resource that I didn’t make. Both were to take advantage of gaining Pierce damage per pierced enemy and also Living Force set affix as a damage loop for absurd Shock or other elemental damage, maybe Frozen again or Poison.
Was from my attention or eye to detail after noticing the hero points affix showing DMG per pieced % and I thought, “what if”?

His hachimon Crono Gift [ PvE Build] Hachimon -Warrior-

or his Frozen throne/Arcanist wizard builds.

The Rogue PvP build I remember having some guidance with MrScooty and Midlumer as well and learned about the immortal build tank as well. Maybe not the first but they made it “perfect” or much better than the one by Cronos iirc.

I thank DQ for my good GCSE Grades at school back then, pushed me to improve both Maths And English and eventually my career path or job I’d want to do, which turned out to be computers related, IT or programming. Come to think of it, it makes sense since it’s a reflection of my desire to help out other people and improve lives and something I’m familiar with, even with my Autism. Didn’t have many real life friends so this felt like my only community at the time, until I did at College where I shared more in common with them.

Also my brother posted here once or twice as @Duck but he was about 12 or nearly 13 then and didn’t post much here, other than saying about how I was on his computer all night for one of the forum posts such as DQ Jewellery art post.

All started with DQ but also my Mum’s advice or parental controls that eventually led me to DQ with more controlled gaming hours after quitting Clash of Clans. Also spotty or slow internet was a natural factor as well and wanting a mostly offline experience.
