Yes you can roll it conditionally.

First, you have to use jasper to turn the item to warrior class(if it is not yet) then apply amethyst. Then after obtaining spell sword from amethtst, jasper the item back to either rogue or wizard class.

Otherwise, you won’t get spell sword from amethyst.
