How do I increase talent level on items?

I have a Sharpened 4 on chest and Lacerate 11 on helmet? How do I make the chest become Sharpened 11?

Welcome to the forums!

Change the talent on the chest to Sharpened by using Citrine crystal.

You can also add an Elixer mythstone to increase all talents.

Welcome to DQ Forums @authenticexpand !

Talents are one of the things on a Weapon or Item that are affected by their Level. you either need to find an Item of a higher Level or use Peridot Crystal to increase the Items Level.

Gotcha.

Regarding Crushing blow, when I proc the effect, is the damage affected by damage multipliers such as weakness/resist, crit damage, and deadly strike?

Crushing Blow is only affected by Crushing Flames Set. it’s a % chance to take 25% of an enemies Current Health.

Crushing Flames increases Crushing Blow DMG by +50% per Rank while enemy is affected by Immolate and Immolate DMG by +25% per Rank.

the only other thing that affect Crushing Blow is an enemies Tier.
Current Health x
Normal 0.25
Magic 0.25 x 0.25
Rare 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25
Epic 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25
Legend 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25
Mythic 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25

hope this helps.

If I have Crushing Flames +300% (6), how much does this increase crushing blow’s effect?

Crushing Flames (6) is +300% (4x) Crushing Blow DMG and +150% (2.5x) Immolate DMG.

Monsters:
Normal: -25% x 4 = -100% current health
Magic: -6.25% x 4 = -25% current health
Rare: -1.5625% x 4 = -6.25% current health
Epic: -0.390625 x 4 = -1.5625% current health
Legend: -0.09765625 x 4 = -0.390625% current health
Mythic: -0.024414062 x 4 = -0.09765625% current health

Note: there has been mention that Crushing Flames (6+) now only lowers Normal Monster HP to 1 so it doesn’t give incredibly huge damage potential to Builds using both Crushing Flames & Frozen Sets. this is so that it is true that Crushing Blow is only affected by Crushing Flames and Crushing Flames only affects Crushing Blow.

Does bleed take on the damage of crushing blow? For instance if crushing blow dealt 1.5625%, does that mean the enemy bleeds for 1.5625% of its hp over time?

No, because Crushing Blow never causes Bleed.

Do crits and deadly strike cause Bleed? How many Bleeds can you apply to an enemy?

Regarding Weaken, can this exceed over 100%? And what does it mean to have 100% Weaken?

Weaken that goes up 100% are able make the enemy resist go negative with effective mythic , mythstone and crystal affix

And critical damage and deadly strike might as well add additional damage to bleed but not guaranteed every time

So can an enemy take multiple procs of bleed? And is this the case as well for any DoT effect like poison and fire?

Yes they able take multiple proc of bleed from your weapon

But i haven’t tried before combination fire and Poison dot if they actually still working unless someone did it before

I’m looking at Stealth, and it has 2 descriptions, 1 when clicking a weapon that has it, and 1 in the dictionary. The former says it doubles Dodge stat, the latter says it dodges all attacks. Which is the correct one?

No. Attacks cause Bleed.

No, only 1 at a time, although you could have 1 Bleed, Fire, & Poison DoT at the same time.

An enemy can be affected by all six DoT’s at the same time. In the Case of Bleed, Fire, and Poison, the highest damage of each is in effect until the DoT time is done, then it starts over with the next highest DoT. A higher DoT will take the place of a lower damage DoT. But only one of each DoT will be in effect. so no 2+ of any DoT at any time (except for Shock, which stacks for 5 seconds, 4 stacks max).

Weaken is basically a damage multiplier. And the damage from Weaken isn’t affected by Map Element Resists & Immune. If you’re using an Ice weapon on an Ice Map with +100% Weaken vs. an enemy Immune to Ice, your weapon will do 100% of the Weapons damage. Weaken is also a % chance to work, so any Weaken under 100% is a chance to do Weaken DMG, like +30% chance for 30% Weaken DMG or +90% chance for 90% Weaken DMG. And it isn’t negative damage (many players, including me, thought it was like this). Weaken can go up to +200%! +100%+ Weaken affects every attack. I also found out that not only does Weaken affect your attack, but can also affect your damage DoT’s! (at least, I’ve seen my DoT’s cause Weaken, it could be a bug).

Bleed, Fire, & Poison DoT DMG is based on your attacks damage. If your attack does Crit DMG or Deadly Strike, then those DoT’s will be based on that damage. Also, Bleed, Fire, & Poison DoT’s also have a chance to do Crit DMG & Deadly Strike. On a side note, Attacks and Fire, Poison, & Beed DoT’s can cause Crushing Blow if you have Crushing Blow on your Equipment.

The description on the Weapon. If you have at least +50% Dodge when you activate Stealth, then you will Dodge all attacks.

Can Dodge exceed over 100% with Stealth?

Also, when using Discordance, would Blink Strike get the Extra Attack Chance of Quick Attack? And would Blink Strike also lose its 600% MH dmg?

I haven’t been able to test it, but I think it does because of how Pathfinder Set works.

yes!

yes! the MH Primary Skill gets the Specials DMG while the Special Skill gets the Primary Skills DMG.

Regarding Hyper Armor, it does not appear in the stats page, and what is its cap? Is it possible to have a skill that have a 100% attack uptime?

not sure, but I think it’s cap is 100%. as long as you are holding down the attack button, you have Hyper Armor. if you stop to move out of danger or to change your position for some reason, you lose the HA until you start attacking again.

not sure if there is a difference between using a slow skill vs. a fast skill.

in addition to this quote, I read that skills using APS or Cooldowns under 1 second are necessary for Hyper Armor to work properly. you could try the test that @MpKTO suggested.

there’s a bunch of other posts, but I only read a few to get a feel for how HA works. hope this helps.

Is the Dodge from Veil only added after applying 2x Dodge from Stealth?
