I want advice on how to increase farming productivity in Dungeon Quest

Hello All,

I have been playing Dungeon Quest for a while now & have been focusing on optimizing my farming efficiency.;While I have made some progress, I feel like there are still areas where I could improve & I am hoping to get some advice from the more experienced players here.

What hero builds do you suggest for farming high level maps quickly?

Which maps or difficulties yield the best rewards for farming? Is it better to focus on clearing lower difficulty maps quickly or should I be tackling the hardest content possible?

Also when I was searching about this I came across these resources https://forums.dungeon-quest.com/t/hello-there-i-am-new-in-dungeon-questgenerative-ai if anyone have any resources, tutorials or personal experiences It would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you…

I find it more efficient to farm on lower floors (180-200) on maps with high pack size and magic enemies.
$2M+ gold on each map and I run a hireling and two imps that drop extra Legend items.
What is lost in not attaining rare crystals on lower floors is more than gained in converting Legend items to crystals.
I use a warrior with Lance for speed to blow through floors, with Scalp and Taunt on a Hatchet for damage.
Maxing your farming stats is obviously important as well.

all difficulty levels except Very Easy give a boost to Gold Find & Luck that applies to their caps. this means that on lower difficulty levels you need more Gold Find & Luck to get to their caps. at the same time, all difficulty levels past Very Easy improve enemy damage and health.

on Very Easy, you would need +650% Gold Find & Luck on your Build to reach the cap and the enemies are easiest to kill.

on Mythic 3, you would only need +300% Gold Find & Luck on your Build to reach the cap and the enemies are the hardest to kill.

although you don’t need them to have a good Farm Build, getting the Perks can really improve your Farming, even beyond caps in some cases.

using a Main & Hireling Farm Team gives a 100% Item Drop that is over Cap.

every 100 floors up to floor 500 improves the drop rate of Crystals & Mythstones a little at the cost of the first through fifth CS & MS not dropping.

floor 1001 is the lowest floor to have any possible Legend or Eternal Item to drop. some powerful Legends and their Eternal versions have a requirement that they are found on floors over 1000.

Epiphany Set increases the cap of most affixes by +5% per Rank.

Legend Pick Up Item increases the range of Items automatically being picked up.

Skill, Talents, and Affixes that improve your ability to move around the map faster lets you finish a Map faster.

having a Farm Build that can kill enemies in a few hits on the difficulty level of your choice also lets you finish a Map faster. it’s been mentioned that being able to kill enemies with one hit or in a few seconds or less improve the drops versus taking a long time to kill enemies.

Nadroji’s Set and/or Bonus, Mythics, Crystalline, and Eternalized Sets improve different aspects of Farming.

converting Items to Crystals to get Crystals. costs lots of Gold the higher the Tier of the Item. the Item converted will tell you which Tier of Crystal you randomly get.

Items with a Mythic Affix can be converted to a Mythstone. the Mythstone will be randomly chosen between the lowest & highest Tier Mythstone used to make the Mythic Affix.

converting Legend+ Items to Dust to buy Legend & Eternal Items from the LegendEx. this costs lots of Gold. Mythic, Eternal, and Crystal Items give more Dust than Legend Items at the cost of more Gold.

winning fights in Battle Arena gives you a treasure Chest. if your Character wins defensive battles when you are offline, it will also get a treasure Chest as a reward for each win. (I don’t really care for PVP, but I really want to make a PVP Farm Build to get Chests when I’m offline)

personally, if I did a Farm Team, I would use 1 Imp and 1 Hound. the Imp would upgrade all Items to (your choice, but usually Rare+, Epic+, or Legend+) while the Hound has a chance to find buried Gold.

the Dev’s have mentioned that on Maps with Sky Fall affix, treasure drops are a little better because Sky Fall makes the Map really hard (Meteors falling from the sky all over the Map. if you kill the Cartographer the Meteors will stop falling. if you die even one time after killing the Cartographer the Meteors start falling again and don’t stop falling until you leave the Map).

as you can see, there are a lot of things to consider when it comes to Farming. for beginners, Luck, Gold Find, and Item Drop should be your Farming priority. as you gain experience Crafting Builds and a better understanding of how DQ works, you can make the Farm Build of your Dreams.

Great information, but what is this? (quote below)

I get massive drops of Legend and Eternal items on any floor.

Am I misunderstanding?

some Legends and their Eternal versions have a requirement that they can only be found on floors over 1000. so floor 1001 would be the lowest floor possible to find them.

I’ll change the post to reflect your question.

Ok, I agree.

Not trying to be difficult. The problem is most likely my poor reading comprehension. :joy:

I appreciate you sharing your vast knowledge of the game. :+1:

no worries. I actually was hoping it wouldn’t be confusing, because I’m lazy, but as you can see… lol!

but then I thought of some more things that fall under farming.
