Technically the first release of the term was in the early Atari days. At that point it was a greataxe. Later there was a balmung released that happened to be a greatsword. Then another axe, followed by another axe, and yet another axe most recently on âRuneScapeâ. So I suppose a swaxe fits.
Another Balmung reference:
In the Nibelungenlied (ca. 13th century), Siegfried discards Gram after receiving a legendary sword called Balmung; in Richard Wagnerâs Ring Cycle (1848â1874), it is called Nothung.
On creating more legends, I think weâre going to hold off on Orb of Illusion for this patch, and make it a more powerful item for next patch and match it with a cool mechanic. Juvatorâs will be saved as well. Quarter_Man happened to choose something very similar to one we already produced for this patch.
Going to try and sneak in some of the other suggested Weapons before the patch releases ( probably Balmung and Murzolâs Staff, possibly one of the swords ).
Will still likely make it an Axe. Thereâs only one Legend Axe, would be great to make some more. Everyone seems to want swords, and those will get love later, Iâm sure.
I tend to prefer axes because of the bleeds and the Whirlwind. I wish wizards had a weapon with an ability with no cooldown, massive aoe, and the ability to continue moving while using it⊠(hint hint)
Specifically filling in all the Affixes to make sure that this glass cannon has no hope of getting an HP mod or HP Regen mod. More DPS, but more risky to use.
