Loved torchlight, though once I found out how easy it was to mod new classes, it was epic. I generally get more fun out of discovering coding methods than the games themselves.
I forgot WoW… I ran a wowps alongside my rsps. Shut them both down when the eoc was released on rs. Stopped playing wow when WotLK was released.
Also I have played Rift, Perfect World, Conquer Online, and downed countless hours on LotRO.
I guess you could say I’m a RPG addict.

Currently the only mobile game I play(and actually enjoy, although I do play Hill Climb as well…) is DQ.
I loved the Sierra Games back in the day, especially the Quest for Glory series. In fact, I still dust them off and play them once in a while, thanks to GoG (gog.com) and DOSBox (dosbox.com).
I also enjoyed the Scott Adams text adventure games.
I also still play an MMORPG called Materia Magica (materiamagica.com) - text and ASCII characters only. It’s very complex and has a lot of depth. I’ve been playing that for about 7 or 8 years.
I played Guild Wars for a while, but it just didn’t do much for me after about a year.
Yeah, I’m old school…
Sierra Games!!! They made Homeworld - among the best storytelling I have ever encountered in a videogame.

Ff4 and ff6 have good stories but they are a bit older than what you mentioned. Some of the guys on the team swear by mass effect though I have not played through the series. Also, any of the KOTOR games are fantastic (my opinion…also the MMO is free to play and worth it for the story tie in’s as well)

“Help me jack” on android.
It’s pretty similar to DQ and has some things that I really would see in DQ 
The only problem is that the staff ain’t very much here and the game is a bit pay2win (and even pay2play, because you’ve an energy system)
But the game rocks
PS : First of the server 
Tried to get help me jack… Not available in the us. Found separate server for it, but wants to update and goes straight back to Google. Looks good though
Is help me jack an iOS game? Cannot locate it on gplay…:nvm found it
