Can crystals change or reroll legendary affixes?

The Diamond Crystal (#4) let’s you reroll all stats on an equipment piece.
Change? No. You have to remove that (legendary) affix with the Kyanite (#6) Crystal and then add a legendary affix with the Ruby (#18) Crystal.

So, the drops are very imbalanced. You need 2^20(1048567)vl 1 crystals(calcite) to get to a lvl 20(obsidian) crystal witch only gives a RANDOM crystal affixe, so you don’t even get a 100% chance to get what you want. It is true that you don’t get only lvl1 crystals but even so you the average drop isn’t more than lvl 4 crystal(diamonf), maybe maybe if you are lucky you get an average of lvl 5(larimar). So in the best case scenario you need 2^15(32768) lvl 5 crystals to get one lvl 20(obsidian). And let’s say you get a average of 10 lvl 5 crystals per map you need to farm approximately 3000 maps to get one lvl 20 crystal. In my opinion it’s not to fare to farm 3000 maps for one lvl 20 crystal which only gives you a chance to get a crystal affix. So the drops could be buffed a little. English isn’t my native language so I hope you understood what I meant.

These crystal stuff etc. is considered as endgame stuff, the best of the best. For now, gear yourself with legendary/epic gear.
Nobody does convert Calcites into Obsidians, that’s a waste of money haha! You can farm higher crystal and convert these to Obsidians, you won’t need ‘that’ much money then compared to your theory with Calcites.

I said calcite as lowest. What higher crystal, I didn’t get anything higher than citrine. And even that I get it once a decade . at this rate it would take me a couple of months, maybe even more to get high-end gear…

Farm cartographer maps, if you haven’t done this yet. I prefer these maps for farming CS/MS.

It does. If you updated to the latest version (which came out today in the store, version 1.6.2.0), the devs actually fixed that bug.

why don’t we plan our perfect build while we farm crystals and mythstones instead of complaining and whining about how rare these and those crystals?

do we ever have some builds in mind before we get that crystals? (as good and as neat as diieter has) if u do have, share and motivate others to farm to build such gears.
gyroscopic slug motivates me a lot.

I think it much more enjoyable to go thru floor mix and matching build and wait for our desired crystals to be dropped.

me myself got amber and have no idea what to do with it, and waste it away, because i just want the best crystal without even knowing what to do with them.

time will answer.
it needs time.

My farmed Crystals and Myth Stones…I’m farming more and more…right time will come for me to use them I tried to use some Crystals but I’m not that lucky and the supply of my Crystals aren’t sufficient so I didn’t get what I want…told myself “better luck next time. Ineed to collect and collect then select.”…lol

nature is some kind of bonus affix you got on your gear.
e.g.: lederer lance of luck (has bonus luck)

if u think luck nature doesn’t suit you well, u can change it with beryl.

someone has posted this list of nature, if I’m not mistaken, it is either CentraBPM’s or Diieter’s post.

Well, what can i say:) this new system is awesome. It has put all the nice parts of the gameplay together. Now you do have a reason to clean up the random maps fully, and not just sprint to the cartographer right away. Even better, now gold makes sense cause i have a way to spend my 80mil and farm some more)

btw, can anyone explain how obsidian works? (pardon me if it was already replied - couldn’t read bazilion pages of this topic;)

I made this exact argument on page 5 of this thread. I’ve since changed my opinion. What changed my mind is the possibility to buy from the merchant - he seems to have fairly regular access to “the good stuff” (now 33% cheaper than before, too). After using the system, I find that Sapphires and Flourites can go a long way to maxing out existing gear - and they’re only lvl7 and lvl8 crystals.
